Paganism is as old as the Civilization of Humankind. Pagan beliefs started when people started thinking about the natural phenomenon, Moon, phases, Season changes, Rain and Thundering, Tree growth, Harvesting and the Breeding of Prey animal, Maintaining Livestock etc.
Paganism is the original spiritualism, dating back past the civilization of humankind and originating at the point where we (as a species) became self aware. The first creature to raise its head and look at the stars with fear and wonder harboured the seeds of paganism in its breast.
Cats are nocternal and sleep most of the day and race around at night. Usually your pet will play during the day and then have a nap. They feel loved and confident so when you come over to them and speak to them they know more of what you're saying than humans give them credit for. They know you love them and it's their way of showing affection. My cat talks back to me by chirping, rubbing against my arm or leg and rolling her eyes and yes, I get the occasion yawn.
Answerdogs hate loud noises because they have very sensitive ears so if you have a dog make them think that your gone and watch them and if they try to jump up bang something very loudly like pans or something but dont let the dog see you.
First, get a large piece of cardboard or solid board, and put it on the edge of the table with half of it hanging of the side. Put cans or jars filled with pennies or something that makes a lot of noise on the end that is NOT hanging off the table. When your dog jumps up to put his paws o the table, the cardboard will fall off because his weight will cause it to tip. The loud jars will alarm him. Once he figures out that jumping on the table only results in an uncomfortable situation, he will start to learn not to do it. Hope this helps.
Many breed of cats dislike water (mainly because it gets their fur wet), but some, such as Abyssinians and Turkish Vans, have been actually known to have some cats from the breed enjoy water.
If it's a new cat then time, patience, talking to it, giving it love and attention but not over stimulating it
They will soon calm down and start to trust you
If its a cat you've had for a while, make sure there's no changes to its environment, life, food, toys, death, etc. and again all the same as before and maybe even a trip to the vet (and of course all of the above too.)
You can also try Rescue Remedy by Bach Flower Essences. It has worked great for me in my cat rescue work! Your local green grocer probably stocks it.
