I pour liquid paper mache into a plaster mold to cast a model which I then paint in either acrylic or oil paint. I adhere the cast, painted model to a wooden board upon which a scene in acrylic or oil paint has been painted. The cast model blends with the background scene and seems to emerge from the background. I sometimes enclose the finished work in a shadowbox. To see examples of some relief paintings I have created go to www.cameoqueen.com/.
Who invented Crayola?
Well, you could try some easy puzzles or blocks or maybe (if they are good, and not very long or much of it) educational children TV shows and movies. You could also invite other toddlers or young children to play for short play dates.
Many ways, #1- Take a length of wire and wrap around a round object, leave a tail of wire and bend perpendicular to circle of wire. #2- cut a circle out of plexiglass and glue a small rod for mounting. Many other way require different materials and procedures. Hope these help, Good Luck.
