CASE 1: IF the transistor is "Common Emitter" and Logic Signal 'A' is given to the base, Then the output from collector will be "Complement Of A" CASE 2: IF there are two transistors whose collector terminals are common but common emitters: Let LogicSignal 'A' is given to first transistor and 'B' to second transistor then the resultant signal the output will be "COMPLEMENT OF A * COMPLEMENT OF B" (due to Common Emitter) CASE 3: IF A single transistor has two or more signals at its base then it means there are "TWO TRANSISTORS WITH COMMON COLLECTOR (Same as CASE 2)"
The advantages of CMOS are as follows:
- Low power consumption
- It has a wider voltage variation 3v to 15vdc
- The fan-out capacity of this device is high
- high input resistance
On the contrary, for a given voltage, lowering the resistance will increment the current and the power dissipated by the resistor. hence heating up the resistor.
For a higher resistance value, you will need to increment the current by incrementing the voltage to increment the power dissipated.
A dry contact is a contact that does not provide voltage. For instance, the push-to-talk switch of a microphone, which just closes a circuit without providing voltage.
A wet contact is a contact that will provide voltage when closed, like the switch on the wall that activates the 110 VAC outlet to turn a lamp on in a room.
