The diesel electric propulsion system uses a diesel engine(s) to turn generators which in turn power electric motors that turn a drive (or prop) shaft. This differs from other hybrid propulsion systems that require batteries (added weight plus replacement costs) to store the electricity. The advantages of diesel electric propulsion systems include reduced noise, increased efficiency, greater reliability due to fewer moving parts, less space, lighter, etc. These systems are now making their way into smaller applications such as pleasure craft. Roaring 20's InventionsThere were numerous inventions in the 20s. Here are just a few:

I personally use my computer for things like that...i make my screen flash when i get an email...but all you really need is to put a mic by the speaker, capture the sound, then make a script or something that when the sound is playing, the screen changes base colors (i.e.:reverse red and white) ---- You could also build a few bandpass filters and use a comparator to determine whether the noise at that frequency range is greater than the (other, non-white) noise level when the noise you're looking for is not present. This will produce a logic level signal that you can feed into a multi-input AND gate to determine your output. Use a transistor to provide the LED current when the input is high (maybe connect the comparator output to the base and the LED to the collector so that very little base current produces enough current to power the LED). Don't forget to put a resistor in the collector to limit the current through the LED so you don't blow it. definition of white noise is a myriad of burst of signal generated internally by an active device. The noise can be disturbing but to detect that means only one thing the active device must be linear but not functional. As far as the lighting a led for the whole spectrum is practically impossible definitely you will need to amplify the white noise and filter it meaning it will see just the low band. LED are not exactly suited for your requirement YOU REALY CANNOT how canyou detect a myriad of signals
