terrorist activity against Israel and its civilian population, and relatively infrequent
and relatively large Israeli military reactions in defense of its territory and its citizens.
The debate has nothing to do with "ownership of the land", which is obvious
since so many Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel own land in Israel.
The debate is over the existence of a Jewish country.
