check your fuel line.... and u might look at the oil and air filter too.
On the underside of the track on each end there is a torx screw. Slide the seat forward and you can get to two of the torx screws. Slide it back and you can get to the other two. The seat will lift off without having to remove the brackets.

you can put a v8 in a cj definitely but as far as tj and yj it would cost you a fortune you would be better off upgrading to a 270 hp inline 6 cylinder. I want to put one in my jeep so I've looked into it. You'd have to buy engine, engine block, new transmission, transfer case, alternator, and still find away to fit everything in there. you can find your motor at quadrotech.com
