Yes, although it is rare. My wife called to the doctors one time because she missed her period and upon examination the doctor told her she was 3 months pregnant or expecting twins. The doctor made my wife an appointment at the hospital to have a scan, when she had the scan it turned out she was three months pregnant, even though she had two normal periods beforehand.
It really depends on the person but i would say you very well could be pregnant. It is possible that you conceived but then had a very early miscarriage. It is thought that this happens to about 40% of conceptions so you are not alone. If you think you may be pregnant take a test.
I heard from a doctor that most girls that are on the pill (not sure what method you are on,) actually DO get pregnant more often than you would think, but then miscarry. Its an ugly thought. But that could be what the brown mess is all about.
It can take quite a while. It is longer if your nursing. I have 4 children and nursed the last 3. With the first, I had a period two months later. With the 2nd and 3rd, it was 6 months, and with the 4th, it was 15 months. I wowldn't worry about it. Enjoy not having it! It is truly different for everyone, some women come home from the hospital bleeding & this continues right into a period, others go months without it starting back up, usually it is irregular and will take some time to get back to what it was pre-pregnancy. Just remember you CAN get pregnant after having a baby even if you haven't had a period yet!
Twenty three weeks ago. In other words, those three weeks of unprotected sex did it. Are you sure you didn't have a period at the beginning of September, because to be 23 weeks pregnant on Feb 12 (EDD June 11) you would have got pregnant around September 18? (englishangel)
